CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE ASSOCIATE
(PERMANENT POSITION: INTERMITENT with up to 34 hours weekly)

 
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Customer Experience Associate at the Exchange, you will be a part of an award winning team. We offer various retail opportunities- from front-end cashiers or working in our various departments, to our Express and Class 6 stores. So what can you expect as a Customer Experience Associate at the Exchange?
  • Greet every customer with eye contact and smile in your authentic way
  • Acknowledge every waiting customer as soon as they arrive to your lane to let them know you’ll be right with them
  • Complete transactions accurately and efficiently while engaging customers in appropriate conversation
  • Help customers by following the proper procedure for bagging merchandise and moving large or heavy items

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Completion of high school or the equivalent. Retail experience, demonstrated willingness, and potential for additional responsibility.  If a sufficient number of qualified candidates do not apply, the minimum qualifications may be lowered without reposting.

LOOKING FOR AN INDIVIDUAL WHO IS 
CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTATEDHAS REGISTER/COMPUTER SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE. FLEXIBILITY WITH WORK SCHEDULES.

• Able to learn and adapt to current technology needs
• Able to think quickly on the spot to answer customer questions
• Willing to cross-train and work in other areas of the store, as needed
• Must possess a welcoming and helpful attitude toward customers and other team members
• Cash handling experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Retail experience preferred

FLEXIBILITY WITH AVAILABILITY  
NORMAL OPERATING HOURS: MON-SAT: 0800AM TO 05:00PM; SUNDAYS OPEN DURING SUMMER. ADJUSTMENTS WILL BE MADE BASED ON MILITARY TRAINING SCHEDULE AND OPERATIONAL NEEDS. 

RELIABILITY AND GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. MUST BE ABLE TO KEEP AREA CLEAN AND SHELVES STOCKED. MUST BE ABLE TO REACH UP AND BEND TO STOCK MERCHANDISE. TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED. WE ARE LOOKING FOR DEPENDABLE ASSOCIATES WHO ARE TEAM PLAYERS AND ARE ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT SERVING THOSE WHO SERVE.

Max:  $22.11
